St. Augustine is 450 years old, making it the oldest city in America and with its history it is an ideal place to visit for fans of the supernatural. The Ghostly Gathering Carriage Ride Tour takes groups on a journey back to a time when horse and buggies roamed the streets. Tour guides dressed in colonial attire take group members on a two and a half mile journey full of historical facts and scary tales. Beginning at the clock tower located in the historical district the tour takes about an hour and travels through the streets of the city. In an effort to increase the excitement of the experience, the tour is conducted in the dark of the night which is the best time to see otherworldly figures.

When we think of the impending holidays and their meanings, what comes to mind? For many it is about re- uniting with loved ones, reminiscing childhood anticipation of the magic, the gift of giving, and creating and embracing a few moments of peace and solace in our busy lives.
Throughout this nation there are numerous things one can do to commence the start of our holiday season. There are cities who boast a robust presentation of luminous decorations. Of course the one city that instantly comes to mind, is none other than New York City itself. From exclusive storefront decorations that lure customers, to the classic scenes we think of such as the brilliantly lavish Rockefeller Christmas tree. Indulging your senses with the holiday glitz and glam could not possibly be more indulging than in The Big Apple.
On November 2oth, our home town of St. Augustine, turns the switch to thousands of twinkling white lights that will illuminate the nation’s oldest city. My family and I are eagerly envisioning the splendor we will experience as one of the most quintessential cities I have ever seen transforms into a magical Christmas storybook. There is not a better way to take in this wonderland than taking a tour of enchantment in the comfort of the Holly Jolly Holiday Trolley. Guests aboard the trolley will be able to view millions of beautiful white lights dressing historical buildings and draping the large Oak trees in the plaza.
The most pleasant, informative, and convenient way to tour the historic city of St. Augustine is to take a trolley tour with the Old Town Trolley. Not only were we able to get on and off at all the important sites, we were also given informative information about the charming city of St. Augustine during on tour. One of our favorite stops by far was the magnificent grace we experienced while touring Flagler College.
The St. Augustine Alligator Farm attraction exceeded my expectations to say the least. It was certainly not correlated to the distorted image I initially conjured up in my head. It is not similar to some parks that can be known to sensationalize. It does not mock the animals in any way. It certainly is not some interstate side show that entertains with gator wrestling. The St. Augustine Alligator Farm opened in 1893, and is one of the oldest zoos in the USA. It is a quality, well maintained attraction, that will not disappoint you.
